DEACONS, TRUSTEES & DEACONESS MINISTRIES:

DEACONS MINISTRY -Support the pastor in the spiritual growth and well-being of the church membership through the Deacon Family Ministry by Putting the Pieces Together uniting home and church. (Pieces: Praying, Instructing, Evangelizing, Comforting, Encouraging, Sharing and supporting).

TRUSTEES MINISTRY - Responsible for the financial stability and physical upkeep of the church.

​

DEACONESS MINISTRY - Support the pastor and deacons in addressing the spiritual needs and well-being of the church membership specifically addressing the needs of female members.

​

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES:

YOUTH MINISTRY - Responsible for overall planning, teaching, preparation, and delivery of youth activities within the church

​

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY - Addresses the spiritual, health, emotional, and social issues of young adult members.

​

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT USHERS - Greeting, seating and administering to congregation needs during services.

​

CHURCH SCHOOL CHOIR - Age appropriate praise songs in the Church School setting.

​

YOUTH CHOIR - Age appropriate contemporary gospel and praise songs.

 

TEACHING MINISTRIES:

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRY- Christian Education is the deliberate, systematic and sustained divine and human effort to share or appropriate an accurate knowledge and understanding of God’s word, with the goal of a person’s or group’s values, attitudes, sensitivities, activities and behaviors becoming consistent with the Christian faith as reflected in scripture.

CHURCH SCHOOL MINISTRY - Sunday morning Bible study of theme-based topics for all age groups.

​

ADULT BIBLE STUDY - Bible study of theme-based topics for adults.

​

YOUTH BIBLE STUDY -Age appropriate study of the Bible.

​

WOMEN’S MINISTRY - Addresses female spiritual, health, emotional, and social issues.

​

MEN’S MINISTRY - Addresses male spiritual, health, emotional, and social issues.

​

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Week-long Bible study of theme-based topics during the summer.

SERVICE MINISTRIES:

EVANGELISM MINISTRY - Plan and coordinate evangelistic efforts of the church.

MISSIONARY MINISTRY - Render assistance to those in need.

​

PASTOR AID - Provides support to the pastor, anticipating the pastor’s needs and spearheading the congregation’s acts of appreciation for the pastor and his family.

SENIOR USHERS MINISTRY -Greeting, seating, and administering to congregation needs during services.

​

NURSES MINISTRY - Provide medical assistance for congregation needs during services; provide health advice to members.

​

FAMILY MINISTRY - Sponsors activities promoting and supporting the family environment.

​

COURTESY GUILD - Responsible for welcoming and hospitality of visitors during services.

​

THE REVELATIONS NEWSLETTER - Chronicle and publish events and activities of the church.

​

MUSIC MINISTRY - VOICES OF PRAISE CHOIR - sings during the 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month focusing on Contemporary Gospel, Southern Gospel, Soul Gospel, and Traditional Gospel songs; COMMUNITY CELEBRATION CHOIR - sings during the 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month focusing on Traditional Gospel, Spirituals, Hymns, Contemporary Gospel, and Southern Gospel songs.
